Yuribas is a big guy. Hardened by life, naturalist, excellent nature photographer, teacher who knows and transmits… and who does not believe. This is Yuri for me.
The Photography Workshop the weekend of 20 to the camping 22/Enero/2012 Vaderredible of Polientes (Cantabria)… unsurpassable! Yuri is seen that as well durra, he lives,transmitting fluid, knows how to reach and everything becomes simple and easy. The group to be reduced has meant that the environment was fraternal. I love walking in the road that runs parallel to Villalobón stream of the same name. I caught close to home and I often. I remember once we were going with the kids to the pool of La Salle, now in complete ruins. Too bad!
We have a few days in Palencia with a dense fog that produce artistic “rime” while enigmatic landscapes in which it not for the proximity of the city seem that I was going to get a wolf at any moment. Does it have anything to do with the name of Villalobón”?

Cabanas is a small village in the province of Palencia, near Osorno and little known. Perhaps this is because that is not next to the road, or to the train and its station abandoned since the Canal de Castilla who bathes, only see the odd cyclist lost. Instead they looked perfectly plowed fields and care, what it says much for the cabañeros.

Palentina Mountain always offers good opportunities to take pictures. On this occasion, after a morning not too prolific in Aguilar de Campo, the golden afternoon sun provided us with some beautiful photos in Rebollo de la Torre, Burgales pretty village near Alar del Rey and Herrera de Pisuerga.
The church of San Julian and Santa Basilisa, restored in 2006, has a gallery of ten Romanesque arches and flared cover, the whole decorative sculpture looks excellent and is one of the few remnants of the era that is signed by the author (Juan de Piasca, 1186). After a period of complete lack of inspiration… life goes on!. The setbacks that our fate would be better than never arrived, but once we make them get into something practical and positive. It hurts, slope… but it is possible ! This is my first witness to this.
Is 28 Octuble of 2011, las 18:38, Playa Covachos, Liencres, Santander, Cantabria, Spain. A privileged, beautiful, close…and unforgettable for us now!.The other great esta, very high… when only barely a week before and almost at the same time, the sea was low and there were rocks in front accessible.

Watercolor technique is learned more or less well, The more you practice and better master the watery, moisture in paper, color mixing, lights out …etc.. But in my opinion the “interpretation” is very different, and not much practice improves faster. Unlike, may have to practice over and over again the error does not move forward until we change anything learning methodologies. This is about what I want to reflect a little. [leer mas]

Our friend Joseph explains in the book “MASTERING ATMOSPHERE & MOOD IN WATERCOLOR”his conception of how the three basic components interact in watercolor: PAPER – WATER – PIGMENT.
This book was published in Hong Kong in 2002 and sold at the price of 17,99 £. It is a shame that is exhausted, JZ said that according to,expectations of re-editing are virtually nil.

Joseph Zbukvic, famous watercolor Croatian diligently in Melbourne (Australia) has been painting this fall on the Costa Brava. In San Feliu de Gixols and organized by EPC Art Courses,Joseph has conducted two workshops: one of 26 September 3 de Octubre, and one 7 to 13 de October09. Both a success of participation, with numerous people on the waiting list.
During the second workshop, I was privileged to participate, Joseph watercolors painted nine (Imperial medium format), cuyas reproduzco en la Photo gallery assistant. Was a joy to see how executed, mostly in the street painting from life. [leer mas]

Alvaro Castagnet: You may like or dislike his paintings, your pictures will look more or less abstract, and will more or less your favorite pictorial style, but what is certain is that it is a delight (and a luxury) see painting: as “torea” with the brush here and there, as carefully measure the imprecision of their strokes… and above all putting all the passion that comes from its Latin soul. … and that gives her labia “the child” !
