The struggle between the Canon and Nikon users about which brand is best, is not new and will continue to fill many pages in magazines and the internet. For me, the conclusion is always so clear and obvious: in a camera / objectives is best one, and other the other. But for some magazines seems to be no.
In this short article I want to draw attention to the deception of some comparative read in photography magazines on the market. Whether by “lightness” technique, Covert advertising is, If they can confuse the potential buyer of goodwill.
A demonstration of this we have in a popular magazine: Digital Camera, in its October issue 09 presents the comparative 4 objectives fixed focal length of 50mm and 1.4. To keep things simple, I'm only on the objectives of Canon and Nikon, which are left in the first place, but the reasoning is also valid for the other two: Sigma and Sony.

After a series of comments without any technical objectification, give the punctuation (of 0 a 5)in which they rely to decide the best:

As can be seen, differ only in 1 punto. In construction and management are alternately, one better than the other, but as they are difficult to objectify valuations we concentrate on the “pointo” difference, that occur in the Image Quality (Canon better than Nikon),and that if it is very quantifiable.
Who is the “guru” of comparative photographs ? In my opinion the best DPreView, whose pages are in English but to the dismay of Hispanics, offer a very juicy and informative articles technically speaking. What do they say about ?
The analysis makes both CANON as NIKON are detailed impresonantemente, and comparative graphs, though they may be technically complex, are very easy to understand:

CANON - NIKON
The graphics of each chamber are interpreted as:
Left half: Simulates the left half of the camera sensor: with its center and two corners.
Naranja significa poca nitidez, good and excellent blue green, for focal length of 1.8.
Right half above: Curve is clearly, center-to-end. The above best.
Right half down: Curves are the chromatic aberration (rojo y azul). The lower the better.
It is based on these data give analysts in dpreview Canon Image Quality 8 y a Nikon 8,5 both scored over 10. Who to believe ?
Are they really useful to the user these comparisons, when one can only choose the target brand of camera you already have ? If you still were Camparada with Tamiya or Sigma Tanron …. would be meaningless. But of course, compare these with Canon or Nikon will already know what the best and that will be both more expensive.
In the end, I'll keep going to the pages of DPreView, and if not what I'm, or is that just came out or not really worth Menec in-depth analysis.
